Elderwoods Coaching acknowledges that it is within the traditional territory and lands of the Haudenosaunee, the Métis, the Huron-Wendat, and the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation. We acknowledge that this is only a first step and that reconciliation requires more than words, it requires action and restoration.
This territory is the subject of the Dish with One Spoon Wampum Belt Covenant, an agreement between the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, the Anishinabek Nation and their allied nations to peaceably share and care for the resources around the Great Lakes. This territory is also covered by the Upper Canada Treaties.
